About the Job:
We are looking for a Frontend developer who share our passion for writing clean and reusable code using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Note that we use object-oriented programming (OOP) approach mainly as well as we work according to strict coding standards and other technical requirements.
Our tech stack: PHP 7.4(8.1), Symfony, PHPUnit, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Git., Docker.
For the front-end part: native Javascript, JQuery(legacy code), Typescript, Three.js(OpenGL), SVG, Canvas, WebGL, Webpack, Websocket, Jest (unit tests), Docker.
Important Note:
- For the on-site employment in our offices in Vilnius, Lithuania and Amsterdam, Netherlands we are only considering candidates with a valid residence permit. Visa sponsorship is available if you hold primary residence with work authorization.
- For remote employment you should be prepare working as a Contractor under B2B service agreement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality PHP applications;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code;
- Follow best practices - SOLID, STUPID, design patterns, writing tests, writing self-documenting or well documented code, etc.;
- Optimize application performance and scalability;
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve performance and other issues;
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience of Web development
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Popular frameworks and libraries (at least jQuery)
- Experience with 2D (SVG, Canvas)
- Experince with 3D graphics (Three.js, WebGL)
- ECMAScript 6+
- CSS
- Compatibility between web browsers
- Supporting technologies - REST, JSON, XML, HTML, Git, ...
- How to write clean and maintainable code
- Best practices in security, performance, memory management, maintainability, ...
- Good understanding of web protocols (HTTP, Web Sockets, ...)
- Intermediate in English
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
- Understanding of mathematics, geometry
- Understanding of Russian or Lithuanian languages
- Some knowledge of AngularJs, ReactJS, VueJS, LESS, SASS, Bootstrap, etc can be a plus
